  1. You can, just do what the OP did (make sure that the buyer's name or other confidential information isn't visible).
  2. Actually, many sellers do mention using extensions, and they do use them. And then come to cry on the forum and whine that they got in trouble for no reason. Also, way too many sellers can't be bothered to read the ToS. Or they pretend that it doesn't apply to them because "their senior person told them to do so-and-so".
  3. That's against the rules. I hope you didn't do it. You are correct, you could get banned for that. There's no rule against it, however, one seller was recently advised by their Success Manager to communicate in English with his clients (that seller is German, his clients are mostly German, but still, English is recommended).
  4. Why would you? People interested in buying your gig are not here on the forum; it's mostly other sellers here.
  5. I do that, too, and yet they keep trying to convince me that they didn't make a mistake...
  6. No, clients don't magically show up just because you sign up for Seller Plus.
  7. You might want to start using "Request to Order" feature. That way buyers won't be able to place an order against your will.
  8. Try generating leads for yourself. If you're good at it, you could get orders that way.
  9. Oh, only what they've been doing since the start. Like cancelling orders that got a low rating, in order to get rid of that rating (until Fiverr put a stop to it by making reviews stay even if the order was cancelled). Or cancelling order if they thought the buyer didn't like the delivery, to avoid a negative rating (so now we have reviews even on cancelled orders). Or begging their buyers or manipulating them into giving them 5 star reviews, stating that their children would go hungry if they got a lower rating, and what not. Or not delivering the orders as fast as they could and waiting for the orders in queue to pile up so it would look like they were in high demand. Or... Way too many sellers have been manipulating the system from the start (and teaching their friends to do the same), and then we all got punished for that, time after time.
  10. No, but you can do it through mobile browser instead of the app. Of course, first make sure that your mobile browser has camera access.
  11. Next to it, on the right, should be 3 dots. Clicking on those allows reporting or marking as spam.
  12. Oh, sorry about that, I forgot that it's in the Seller Plus forum, so only Seller Plus members can see it. Basically, Fiverr higher-ups promised to do something, but then they didn't. The trouble is, our experience with Fiverr shows that they're going to do what they want to do. Throughout the years, there has been a lot of noise after this change or that was implemented, some people threatened to leave (and a few of them did leave), and Fiverr kept doing what they wanted to do. No matter what any of us say or do, the new system is here to stay.
