  1. Hi, I am a "programmer" (I use the term loosely, because what I really do is write automation scripts), and I am currently juggling 2 projects, 2 repeat customers that are looking for new offers from me, as well as several potential customers. The problem is that the Fiverr messaging system alone is a terrible way to try and mange projects. I can't even search message content, which means I leave money on the table when I can't go back to find clients who requested things in the past that were not possible then, but now thanks to AI, they are possible. So I'd like to suggest, for an added fee, you integrate something like Monday.com into your product, which will allow us to track ongoing and past projects in such a way that it makes us more efficient and helps us make Fiverr more money. If you can't or won't integrate more project management tools into your platform, can you at least make messages SEARCHABLE, you know, like how I was able to search for messages in email back in the 90's! Thanks! Chris
  2. I do computer scripting, as well as some limited tech support for clients here on Fiverr, and a big huge red flag for me is when someone starts telling me how easy it is to do my job, or how it "shouldn't take much time". If they don't respect your skills before you have even started discussing their project, then what will they be like once you have an order from them. Also if they "tried using ChatGPT" to do the job for them, I would seriously think twice before spending a lot of time with them. They are probably still trying to use ChatGPT, using any knowledge they can skim from you in that process. At the very least I'd go back and look through their interactions with you with a fine tooth comb to see if any of the OP's Red Flags are hiding in plain sight there. One last red flag from me is "We have a lot more work like this coming in the future". No, no they don't. OK, maybe 1 in 10,000 actually have more work for you, the other 9,999 are just trying to get you to work for a discount. And a bonus red flag for everyone, when you go to research the client, you see they are also a fiverr seller, who is offering the same, or nearly the same services as you. This means they overpromised on a project, and can't deliver. They are probably going to want you to do the job for a discount, or will try to get a fair amount of feature creep into the project.
  3. I know this has been suggested in general in other topics, but I wanted to surface this as it's own topic because I believe that it is that important. Having no way to search through my inbox (line I have been able to do with email since pretty much the dawn of email) is a real pain for me, and means less business for me and for Fiverr. If I have a request for a project, that I don't think can technically be done at the time, but a solution presents itself 6 months later, I would like to be able to find that client and tell them that I think I have a solution to their issue. What that entails now is just searching through all the messages I have from every buyer, attempting to find the right conversation. It is a real waste of time. If a search function can not come in the very near future, then I suggest allowing us sellers to download our inboxes as a searchable PDF or as a text file. While not as good as a searchable inbox, it would at least save me a tremendous amount of time with trying to find old requests. Thanks
